A Dinner Recipe That Gets Literal Cheers Out Loud

Happy Weekend, Friend!

Happy Halloween weekend to those who celebrate! We're making Monster Face Smoothies in the morning and pumpkin shaped pizzas with our homemade pizza dough for dinner. Then on November 1st, I'm putting up my Christmas tree. Yes, it's early and yes, it brings me so much joy I don't mind being one of the early birds.

November has so much delicious food coming our way (Thanksgiving side dishes! Desserts! Holiday breakfasts + treats!), but today, I've got a brand new recipe that gets literal cheers out loud from both my kids. It's fast, it's easy, and the flavor is SO GOOD.

new recipe:

PARMESAN PASTA WITH BACON & PEAS

Creamy parmesan sauce, smoky bacon, and sweet peas are a match made in heaven! (Don't miss the bonus chicken recipe in the recipe card that we usually serve with this!)

HEALTHY CHICKEN & BROCCOLI

This naturally sweetened cornbread is the perfect compliment to chili & soup, but it's also a great substitute for rolls at Thanksgiving! We love this one so much.

HASH BROWN EGG CASSEROLE

We ate this for dinner Monday night and everyone was SO excited to wake up to leftovers on Tuesday! Clocking in at 20ish grams of protein per serving, this one's more nutritionally balanced than you'd guess, and it's SO GOOD.

20+ FUN FAMILY GAMES UNDER $20

It's wild to say it, but gift guide season is here and lots of stores are running early sales! In case you're doing some early shopping, I rounded up 20+ fun family games under $20. They're easy to learn, fun to play, and great for gifting!

(from our baking blog!)

GLUTEN-FREE CANDY COOKIE BARS

These candy-topped monster cookie bars are definitely filed under "good for my soul" rather than "nutritious for my cells," but they. are. worth. it. Just saying.

GLUTEN-FREE REESE'S COOKIES

Soft, chewy peanut butter cookies with THREE kinds of Reese's goodies inside! These are a DREAM for chocolate peanut butter lovers, and a great way to use leftover candy!

Loving Lately

  1. A Peptide-Infused Lash Serum. After a few years off of lash serums, I've been using this one for the last 6 weeks and have noticed a big difference! This one's made with peptides (and without prostaglandins!) and I haven't had any irritation or side effects.
  2. The Girl Of Your Dreams. Tell me you've seen Ashe floating around your FYP/IG feed? She makes me want to chop off my hair into a vintage curly bob and sing my lil' heart out. "Swan Lake" and "Lasso Me The Moon" have been the soundtrack of the week at my house and the vibes are immaculate.
  3. An Everyday Upgrade. I swapped out my *super* old kitchen washcloths for these a few months ago and have just LOVED them. They do such a great job, look great, and wash well.

What are YOU loving? Anything I should try?

Happy Weekend, Friend! This time of year is a lot of things and one of those things is chili & cornbread! I'm a sucker for a good bowl of chili this time of year, and I love to freeze leftovers for lunches or other recipes (like chili mac!) another day. This week, I published two new recipe refreshes to update some of my favorites. Happy Weekend, Friend! We've been cooking our way through this month's meal plan, and one thing my kids are SUPER looking forward to this weekend is a batch of these juicy Chicken Parmesan Burgers. One of my kids doesn't like beef, so chicken burgers are always a win at my house, and this combination is UNBELIEVABLY good. They're a spin on our Chicken Parmesan Meatballs, and we love them so much they always need a spot in our rotation in one way or another. new recipe CHICKEN PARMESAN BURGERS...

Happy Weekend, Friend! When I had two toddlers at home and we were in the thick of the picky eating phase, I remember everyone telling me that my kids would eventually like vegetables. Well, I would formally like to request a refund, because...now I have two teenagers who still don't love vegetables. For SURE it's better than when they were toddlers, and I still present a weekly rotation of veggies with dinner, but if there's one thing that always comes through for me, it's got to be...
